Here's a chart of my progress, in my attempt to collect 48 states by the time I'm 35. Let's be real here; I'll probably never get Alaska or Hawaii.
Forgive my sloppy graph; I did it on MS Paint at 1AM.
Yeahhhh that's right, I'm riding into Canada this summer :D
Dude, taking your bike over the Mackinaw Bridge is going to be crazy. If you get some time, do some camping in the forested area around the eastern tip of the Upper Peninsula. It is INSANELY gorgeous and quieter than a boy from the suburbs of Chicago will ever experience.
ReplyDeleteRE: Alaska. That would be a good trip to take once you move to Washington or Oregon. I am not exactly sure how you would get to Hawaii on your bike.
I'll have to cheat in order to get Hawaii. My dad did his 48 states on two bikes; His first, a '73 Suzuki GT380 until 1975 when he got his GT750. However, his bikes were new when he got them, and my bike is 30 years old. It won't make it past 25 states, probably. I'll eventually get a newer bike. Plus, I can always fly to Hawaii and rent a bike.
